• A revitalized strategic direction that asserts the Gallery’s relevance to its community and relationship with its audience
• An extensive program of exhibitions, publications and educational activities
• A significant collection that is widely exhibited and used as a study resource
• Ongoing support for a thriving culture of regional artists
• A strong volunteer base service and a growing membership
• Outreach to communities throughout the province
• Over 138,000 visitors a year; 20,000 education program students; and over 5,000 unique visitors to the website per month

The Board meets six times annually and members also serve on at least one Board committee. Applicants should be prepared to commit an average of six to eight hours per month of their volunteer time. Appointments will commence June 17, 2010 for a two-year term, with eligibility for reappointment for a total of three terms.
